We have been selling multifuel and wood burning stoves since 1986 and are stockists of the leading makes. We are also agents for other, more unusual makes.

We hold stocks of the most popular stoves - over 25 models - so you can see and twiddle with them rather than ordering from a leaflet.

Availability from stock means you can, if you wish, choose your stove and take it home all in one trip.

We also stock everything necessary to fit and care for your stove including flue systems and chimney liners if needed.

What is a multifuel stove?

Multifuel stoves will burn a whole range of fuels such as wood, coal, smokeless fuel or peat . The majority of stoves we sell are cast-iron, though we do stock some less expensive steel stoves.

Some stoves are specialised for wood burning only - certainly worth considering if you have a permanent source of free or cheap wood.

We also stock gas-fired stoves complete with realistic coals or logs - ideal for people with a busy lifestyle.

Advantages of a multifuel stove

Multifuel stoves are extremely efficient heat providers. They have all the advantages of an open fire without most of the disadvantages:

  • Major environmental advantages - particularly with clean-burn technology.
  • Far less heat is lost up the chimney.
  • Stoves are very easy to light and the degree of heat is easy to control.
  • Your stove is completely safe left alight when you are out or overnight whilst you sleep.
  • Much safer for children and pets than an open fire.
  • Much cleaner than an open fire.
  • Definitely adds to the sale potential of your home.
  • And they're fun to fiddle with too!

Applications for multifuel stoves

Stoves come in a large range of sizes and styles to match your needs - whether your home is an ancient barn or a tiny terrace, you can bring it alive with the fascination of firelight!

  • A stove with glass doors makes a cheerful and warm focal point for a living or dining room.
  • A stove with an integral boiler can provide you with hot water alone or with hot water and part or complete central heating.
  • Small stoves are ideal for caravans, boats, garages or workshops.
  • Stoves are also ideal for sites without any other power sources - you can even be warm in your semi-derelict holiday home miles from civilization.
